Decorative lion's head glass object, made from turquoise milk glass / opal glass. This is a fragment which has been broken from a larger piece.
It is similar to the decorative ornaments made in France in the 1800s by Portieux Vallerysthal, who used blue milk glass to make decorative candy jars and oil lamps. However, no details are known about this fragment.
